We are seeking an experienced and dependable Assistant Building Engineer to oversee and maintain operations within our luxury high-rise residential development. This role is critical to ensuring building systems run efficiently, residents remain comfortable and safe, and the property upholds its high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day building operations and maintenance for a 20+ story residential high-rise.
• Supervise and lead a maintenance team, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed to the highest standard.
• Perform and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues quickly to minimize downtime or resident disruption.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and facilities to identify and correct deficiencies.
• Maintain detailed records of work orders, inspections, equipment performance, and supply inventory.
• Oversee outside vendors and contractors for specialized services, ensuring adherence to safety codes and quality standards.
• Uphold compliance with all local building codes, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
• Foster a professional, service-oriented environment when interacting with residents and staff.
