American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Level II trauma and multi-specialty surgical experience, as well as active BLS certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Operating Room of an acute care hospitalHandle high volume caseloads, with 60-70 cases per daySpecialties include Ortho (Level 1-2 trauma, total joints), Neuro (cranis), General / Trauma, Vascular, Endovascular / Hybrid, GYN / Uro, ENT / Plastics, Eyes, and RoboticsUses DaVinci robotics, Doppler, ultrasound, Neptune, Aquamantis, advanced video, lasers, stapling systems, Hana and Jackson tables, DaVinci Xi robots, neuro beds, and cryoablation equipmentDay shift position with four 10-hour shifts per week (06 : 45 - 19 : 15)1 : 1 patient ratio for case assignmentsOn-call required, up to four 8-hour shifts per 4-week periodBlock scheduling and weekend requirement details to be confirmedEpic EMR experience requiredProvide perioperative care across multiple high-acuity surgical specialties in a Level II Trauma CenterOrientation held bi-weekly on MondaysScrubs provided for OR staffTeam uses DaVinci Robotic Center of Excellence technologiesFree parking available on siteReturn travelers must have at least a one-year separation from prior employment with the systemCase load includes a diverse mix of trauma and surgical proceduresRequests for time off considered on a case-by-case basisLocal candidates within a 60-mile radius are not eligible\n \n Requirements\n
