Full Time Community Bus Driver
The Riverside Transit Agency is recruiting to fill openings effective July 1st, 2026 for our Full Time Community Bus Driver position. This position will operate the Agency's transit bus fleet (of less than 40 feet) and provide safe, dependable and courteous public transportation service for the citizens of the RTA service area.
While most Community Bus Driver assignments will be located in Hemet, please be advised that this may also involve assignments at our Riverside Division. Applicants must be available to work 7 days per week, including holidays and all shifts.

The position will function under the general supervision of the Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager(s) and under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor(s).

Certificates, Licenses, Registration : At the time of application and appointment of the position : A current, valid, and non-restricted Class B Driver's License is required. Additionally, a DMV Driver's Record Report printout (issued not more than 30 days prior to date of application) must be provided with the application. You must obtain a DRIVER'S RECORD REPORT from the DMV kiosk / online history printout process.
Your established driving history must be clear of the following : 1) Any suspensions within the past five (5) years; 2) May not have more than three (3) points within the past three (3) years; 3) No two (2) point violations within the past three (3) years; 4) No accidents which the applicant contributed to cause within 3 years from your application date.
