ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting opportunity for an  Technical Support Specialist position in our Beaverton, MI location!  Inside Technical Support role provide timely and effective technical support, warranty assistance, and service solutions to our customers.  The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality support. An industrial electronics background is preferred for this role.

Our key to our reputation is in our solutions provided, which includes over 50 years of technological experience!   We understand the biggest hurdle in manufacturing is down-time, and our goal at BMG is to minimize the loss by getting our customers the service needed as quickly as possible.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS :

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
• A minimum of three years experience in a related industry; thermoforming experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with industrial electronics, control systems, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with programming languages, electronic hardware, and integrated circuits.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, email, documentation tools).
• Strong organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for training or customer support.
• A minimum requirement for this position is the ability to work legally in the United States on a permanent basis. No visa sponsorship / support is available for this position.

JOB TYPE : Full-time

PAY RANGE :  $24.00 - $26.00 per hour, based on experience. Wage includes hourly base pay with an increased pay scale when traveling or visiting customer sites.
