Job Summary
We are currently hiring a IHT Corporate Recruiter for our Corporate Recruiting team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. The primary purpose of this role is recruiting, screening, interviewing, qualifying, and referring top talent for internal branch openings. Builds a strong pipeline of potential future hires, maintains a visible online recruiting presence and markets internal job openings to prospective candidates using online research, job boards, social media, and networking.
Essential Duties
Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these :
- Confers and consults with management to identify personnel needs, staffing forecasts, position requirements, and candidate availability.
- Develops interesting and compelling job posting language for open positions on career boards and social media.
- Recruits, screens, interviews, qualifies, and refers job candidates for internal branch openings.
- Refers qualified, screened candidates for each job requisition.
- Develops creative sourcing plans that include traditional and web-based strategies for attracting applicants and to fill specific job openings.
- Develops and maintains contacts within social media, career sites, networking groups, staffing associations, HR associations, schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.
- Prepares applicants for interviews by providing company background information, job descriptions, culture, and business strategy.
- Debriefs with hiring manager and HR after applicant interview to determine job fit or match, to obtain more qualifying information for future applicants, or to schedule additional interviews.
- Debriefs with applicants after interviews; discusses good points of the interview and areas of improvement and provides tips for closing the interview (thank you notes, etc.).
