Manager, OTC And Process Improvement
The Manager, OTC and Process Improvement will manage a team of two to three direct reports from the Order Management Team. This position will require a working knowledge of the Order-to-Cash function. The individual will be required to work with key customers, BlueCrest Senior Management and Banking Representatives to process leased customer equipment orders. In addition to the daily responsibilities of managing customer revenue, this position will be involved in work stream data clean up and report creation to enhance the team's productivity.
Core Responsibilities
- Improves efficiency and effectiveness of the department through both technology and process improvements, while improving the overall control
- Develop a deep understanding of revenue streams and key customers to further enhance and streamline the order-to-cash process
- Ensure that effective internal controls, policies, and practices are in place and that the teams are properly trained
- Ensure customers are onboarded properly, invoices are issued timely and accurately, customer inquiries are researched and addressed
- Responsible for ensuring the data integrity of all revenue data exchanges between the operating systems and the account system (D365 & SalesForce)
- Collaborate with IT and Finance Leadership for system, process, and data automation initiatives
- Participate in initiatives to identify critical business opportunities that transform existing processes to drive increased revenue cycle performance that may include, reductions in revenue adjustments, expediated claims processing, payment posting accuracy and other business modeling needs
- Support Controllers and Treasury Departments with audit preparation, intercompany reconciliations and accounting cycle closes including revenue recognition
- Monitor Team mailboxes to ensure emails are addressed in a timely manner
- Maintain an effective and motivated team through proper selection, training, feedback, coaching and recognition of staff. Cultivate a professional, friendly, and supporting atmosphere
Key Relationships
The role will report to the Vice President of Sales Operations and collaborate with sales, sales operations, legal and other key teams regarding company revenue. In addition to employees at BlueCrest, this role will interact with Audit Firms, Banking Representatives and Outside Consultants
