Founded 20 years ago and located in Arizona, we are a construction company specialized in building residential homes. Our team is known for it's commitment to integrity and exceptional customer service. We continue to grow, and are looking to add an experienced Controller to the mixture.

Position Overview

You will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations and providing financial guidance to the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting, managing budgeting processes, and optimizing our financial performance while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and other reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; and advising management on needed actions.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial analysis and forecasting.
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Supervise and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and efficiency.
