The candidate will architect solutions, design, and develop new applications and enhancements for the Client and Communicable Disease Surveillance Reporting System (CDRSS).

Role Description :

This requisition is for a Java Developer with a background as a solutions Architect. Candidates lacking architecture experience will not be considered.

• Understand Microservice Architecture and design large enterprise applications
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, facilitating brainstorming sessions with health professionals
• Identify hardware and software infrastructure needs to meet architectural goals
• Architect scalable systems for Java / Spring applications
• Manage full lifecycle projects from requirements gathering, design, development, implementation, to maintenance
• Troubleshoot design flaws and system bottlenecks
• Strong web programming knowledge and experience in building web-based applications
• Experience working with relational databases
• Analyze or recommend software or other IT architectural components
• Prioritize work, establish deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor team progress
• Identify and resolve issues and risks affecting projects
• Develop contingency plans as needed
• Manage requirement gathering and change management processes
• Execute responsibilities with minimal supervision
