Coordinates and supports team workload; monitors assignments and responsibilities on new and existing projects. Maintains quality by enforcing organization standards. Contributes to a team environment by maintaining open communication with the leadership team and IT staff; leads regular check-ins with direct reports. Oversees escalations on work orders and resolution of problems. Collaborates with users, vendors, technicians, and managers to understand and assess computing and system needs and requirements. Evaluates current technology use and needs of the company and recommends software and hardware improvements as assigned. Keeps current on advances in technology. Implements and oversees the operational budget and expenditures. Performs other related duties as assigned. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional and positive in appearance and manner. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Thorough understanding of CIS principles, programs, policies, activities, and procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work. Ability to explain technical problems and offer solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to perform the job with or without reasonable accommodation. 4-year degree in IT field or equivalent experience. 3–5 years related experience preferred. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Ability to work in person in Grand Rapids, MN. The IT Manager of Processing Systems serves as a technical and staff lead in IT. Assist in the management of staff and daily processes on projects in IT.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Manages staff responsible for : Client Launch master setup team (setting up offers and record processing in Microsoft SQL for processing through Client Launch – our proprietary ERP system); Computer Operators (processing batches of offer records, QA of output, and related tasks per SOPs); Integration team (convert technical requirements into a technical SOW, primarily for master setups); Administrative team (assigning and tracking work orders, ensuring records and setups move efficiently, developing timelines, and handling status questions / escalations).
- Hires and coordinates training of staff for Client Launch Master Setup Team, Computer Operators, Integration Team, and Administrative Team.
- Prioritizes and assigns IT project work to team members.
- Conducts performance evaluations in a timely and constructive manner.
- Communicates expectations to IT staff, and coaches progress and performance.
- Reviews weekly payroll information for IT employees and addresses issues as needed.
