• Classroom experience with young children
• A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field.
• Knowledge about the philosophies of the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning.
• Extensive knowledge of birth-5 early child development.

• Enthusiasm about early childhood education.

The teacher would normally attain the knowledge, skills and attitudes required for the position through completion of a post-secondary Early Education Program combined with related day care and / or preschool teaching experience. Equivalencies will be considered.

Requirements

Minimum credential is a CDA. Higher credentials and experience are preferred.

Minimum of 2 years experience working with young children infant - 4-year-old.
