Schedule : 12-hour nights, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

A facility in Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in postoperative cardiothoracic surgery care and the ability to manage patients immediately following procedures such as CABG, AVR, MVR, aortic dissection repair, and robotic heart surgery .

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and support postoperative cardiothoracic patients directly from the OR

Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and patient management

Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team

Provide exceptional critical care in a high-acuity setting

Required Qualifications :

Active NY RN license

BLS and ACLS certifications

Minimum 3 years ICU experience , including Cardiothoracic ICU

Preferred Qualifications :

CCRN or CSC certification

Ability to float as needed
