As part of Home Chef's Marketing team, the Content Creator will focus on creating short-form social media content. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop engaging video content that enhances our brand's presence across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable both shooting and editing dynamic content. Basic video editing skills, an eye for social media trends, quick thinking, and a passion for storytelling are essential for success in this fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Detailed Responsibilities

Video Creation :

Collaborate with the social media team to develop innovative video concepts and ideas that align with our brand identity and marketing objectives

• Help create shot lists, storyboard, shoot and direct short-form original content
• Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects editing software to edit high-quality videos that engage our target audience across various social media channels
• Optimize videos for different social media platforms by adhering to their specific formatting and duration requirements
• Actively seek feedback from team members and incorporate suggestions to improve the quality and effectiveness of video content

Cross functional collaboration

Asset + Footage Organization and Maintenance

Social Channel Research :

Understand social media user trends and preferences and ensure Home Chef's social media presence resonates with consumers

Home Chef offers the base salary range as posted below, with the exact offer depending on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, and internal equity. While compensation is within the provided range, it is not typical for offers to be made at the upper end. In addition to base salary, Home Chef provides a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare coverage, 401k match, and paid time off.

Illinois Pay Range

$50,000—$55,000 USD
