Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in managing immigration cases, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced law office environment.
Duties
- Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- Conduct thorough document reviews to verify accuracy and completeness of submissions.
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including briefs and motions.
- Maintain organized case files and manage project timelines effectively.
- Communicate with clients regarding case status and gather necessary information.
- Utilize Westlaw for legal research as needed to support case preparation.
- Proofread documents for accuracy, grammar, and formatting before submission.
- Collaborate with attorneys on legal cases as required.
Skills
Proficient in proofreading and writing clear, concise legal documents.Strong clerical skills with experience in a law office setting preferred.Familiarity with paralegal duties related to immigration law is highly desirable.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Experience with document review processes and litigation support is beneficial.Knowledge of project management principles to ensure efficient workflow within the team.Proficient in using legal research tools such as Westlaw.Fluent in SpanishJoin our team as an Immigration Paralegal where you can contribute to meaningful work while developing your career in the legal field.
