Experience handling and reacting to infrastructure alerts reacting quickly. Communicating : Coordinate releases with internal stakeholders. Champion best practices and quality standards. Participate in functional and technical meetings throughout the development lifecycle. Perform upgrades, patches, and fix security issues. Monitor application performance, system performance, troubleshoot and diagnose issues and implement fixes. Work closely with the development teams to design solutions, deploy and maintain application. Install, configure and deploy new WebSphere application servers on AIX and Linux Write and deploy shell scripts, automate tasks. Experience with one or more webserver setup Apache, IBM Http Server and IIS Experience working with SSL and application security in WebSphere. Troubleshoot, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues. Participate in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies. Experience administering platforms like MuleSoft, RabbitMQ, Docker / Podman, Azure CI / CD. Work with cloud platforms Azure, AWS or Google Cloud. Experience support SaaS products in the cloud – Adobe enterprise, MuleSoft Cloud Integration Deploy and manage containerized application in a cloud environment. Understands clustered container orchestration configuration and setup of Kubernetes / OpenShift platform. Work with cloud vendors and cloud hosting service providers and recommend infrastructure solutions. Experience implementing security and best practices for cloud-based systems. Experience deploying Containers, Microservices, Kubernetes, etc. both in on-prem and cloud. Perform upgrades, patches, and fix security issues. Job Description :
Looking for candidate to function as a SME on enterprise systems, with advance skills in administering WebSphere Application Server, cloud system administration (including Azure, AWS, and Google) and containerized application platform on Linux / AIX. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a multi-tier and multi-platform enterprise class environments.
- 8-10 hours per day
- M-F core hours : 7a-6p (any 8-10 hours w / in those times)
- Subject to On-Call (24 / 7 daily, 365 days a Year)
