Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 educational institution in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a qualified Teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students for the 2025 / 2026 school year. This contract position offers a 35-hour workweek, with part-time candidates also encouraged to apply. The role involves providing specialized instruction and support to a caseload of approximately 45 students and requires in-person presence across multiple campuses.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized and group instruction tailored to the unique needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
• Develop and implement appropriate educational plans and acmodations in collaboration with support staff and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to maximize learning outes
• Coordinate services and resources as an itinerant teacher across various campuses
• Maintain accurate records and ply with all relevant educational policies and regulations
