Job Description
The Telemundo Enterprises Creative Operations Manager leads and promotes operational excellence within the Creative team. The manager supports the Creative team in the development and execution of all marketing campaigns for Telemundo properties, optimizes workflows and processes, and ensures efficient execution, cross‑functional collaboration and alignment.
Creative and Design Development and Tracking
- Oversee the intake, prioritization, and development of all creative and design requests for marketing campaigns.
- Monitor and track approvals and deliveries of creative and design assets to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely delivery of all campaign assets within scope and aligned with strategic goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and report current and potential challenges to department leadership and key stakeholders.
- Schedule, prepare, and lead team meetings to ensure alignment, document key action items, and follow up to maintain progress on creative and design development.
- Analyze project workload, identify resource needs, and coordinate support through freelancers or vendors.
Process Optimization & Operational Excellence
Promote adherence to established workflows and processes to ensure the team achieves operational excellence.Oversee, analyze, and refine workflows by optimizing creative and design operations, ensuring alignment and cross‑collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.Identify and implement best practices for creative operations, design, and production.Ensure all creative and design deliverables adhere to brand guidelines, network standards, and legal compliance.Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline communication and enhance operational clarity.Work closely with Production Management, Studios leadership, and Media Ops teams to ensure the smooth transfer of materials between departments for the successful and timely execution of all campaigns.Creative Leadership & Management
Foster a collaborative and structured work environment, ensuring seamless coordination between Creative, Design, Marketing, and Production teams.Advocate for the needs of the Creative and Design teams, removing roadblocks and optimizing performance.Budget & Vendor Management
Oversee Creative and Design budget needs, manage vendor sourcing, bidding, and contracts, ensuring financial accountability.Manage external vendors and freelancers, negotiate contracts, and ensure deliverables meet required specifications.Systems and Technology
Promote and advocate for the use of available systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency.Proactively suggest new tools and champion technological innovation.Qualifications
Proven experience in creative operations, design project management, or a related field, preferably in media, entertainment, or broadcast industries.Ability to oversee multiple projects in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment while maintaining quality standards.Strong understanding of creative, design, and production workflows, including on‑air, digital, and social content creation.Strong leadership, mentorship, and team‑building skills.Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.Team‑player mentality, highly collaborative, and committed to building a strong and healthy team culture.Expertise in using project management tools.Basic proficiency with design software tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Cinema 4D.Familiarity with various graphic assets, file formats, and technical specifications.Expertise in using Microsoft Office tools.Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocation.Must be fully bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken).Flexible to work outside regular hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed.Additional Information
