Human Resources Specialist
Serve as the main HR contact at the location for union and non-union employees, supervisors, and union representatives. Support labor relations activities including collective bargaining agreement (CBA) understanding, contract interpretation, and grievance management. Provide employee relations guidance on performance management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and retention strategies for non-union employees in line with company policies and standards. Partner with the corporate talent acquisition team to support recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of selected professionals. Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, aerospace defense industry regulations (e.g., ITAR, DFARS), CBA parameters and corporate HR policies. Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data to meet company standards and audit requirements. Facilitate clear communication channels between employees, management, union representatives, and corporate HR to support a collaborative and engaged workforce. Assist with benefits administration, compensation, leave management, and employee wellness programs. Other duties as assigned.
