INFOR System Administrator

Position : IBM / INFOR System Administrator Company : NAPCO Security Technologies, Inc. Location : Amityville, NY Company : NAPCO Security Technologies, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of electronic and mechanical security systems for over 40 years, headquartered in Amityville, Long Island NY, seeks an IBM / INFOR Systems Administrator. The Systems Administrator maintains and supports the integrity of the operating system environment and various computer systems, by working with Infor XA on ISERIES and with a strong understanding of IBM i architecture, commands. Responsibilities : Perform system maintenance tasks, such as systems backup, recovery, and file maintenance to promote uptime and efficient performance. Acquires, installs, and tests system software upgrades and computer components. Configure software and resolve technical problems. Maintains documentation of IT infrastructure and troubleshooting procedures. Manage Infor XA including user roles, workflows, and troubleshooting application-specific issues. Assisting users with XA issues Requirements : Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required. 3 to 5 years’ experience with ISERIES 3 to 5 years’ experience with Infor XA, with hands-on experience in : Customer Order Management (COM) Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Procurement Inventory Management (IM) Finance modules Advanced planning and scheduling tools In-depth knowledge of XA data models Troubleshooting system errors SQL proficiency is required Compensation and Benefits : We offer an attractive employment package including a competitive salary, 401(k), paid vacation, personal time off, paid holidays, long term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and excellent growth potential.
