We are seeking an outcome-oriented Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) to join our team and work directly with strategic customers, product managers, UX designers, and engineering teams. In this role, you'll identify leading pain points, rapidly prototype solutions, and translate those solutions into scalable features within our core platform-driving real impact across the healthcare ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Embed with Customers : Partner deeply with clinicians, administrators, and technical stakeholders to understand their workflows and challenges. Build trust through hands-on collaboration and serve as a technical thought partner throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Rapid Prototyping & Delivery : Design and build full-stack applications and features that address critical customer needs. Move quickly from ideation to implementation, leveraging your engineering expertise to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Translate to Core Product : Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure successful prototypes evolve into durable, scalable features that align with GE HealthCare's long-term product vision.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with UX, product management, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless solution implementation and intuitive user experiences.
• Broad Organizational Impact :

Provide valuable feedback to enhance our products based on client needs and market trends.

It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI).
