Paralegal
Career Consulting Partners has teamed up with a boutique plaintiff civil litigation firm in Santa Monica that focuses on Real Estate, Personal Injury, and Employment Litigation. Our boutique plaintiffs’ firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our attorneys with a manageable caseload of approximately 25–35 active matters .
This is not a trial firm or high-volume practice — we pride ourselves on providing quality, personalized service to every client. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and experienced in litigation support, especially with discovery management, calendaring, and meeting deadlines .
IDEAL CANDIDATE :
- Manage all phases of litigation on an active caseload of 25–35 matters
- Draft, prepare, and manage discovery requests and responses
- Maintain and update litigation calendars, including court dates, deadlines, and attorney commitments
- Monitor case progress and ensure deadlines are met
- Communicate with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel
- Prepare case materials for hearings, depositions, and settlement discussions
- Organize and maintain electronic case files
- Perform general administrative and case management support as needed
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal (plaintiff-side experience preferred)Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures in California state courtsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectivelyProficiency with litigation support software and document management systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter who can work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS :
