Wanco Inc. is an industrial manufacturer seeking an experienced Quality Lead to support overseeing the production process to ensure quality standards are met, managing and training staff, and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and quality. Key duties include monitoring production, enforcing safety and quality protocols, analyzing data for process improvement, and preparing reports for management. A strong background in manufacturing, leadership, and problem-solving is required for this role.

What you need to have :

• Education :  Degree, certification, or relevant experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Experience :  Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment that includes use of an ERP software system, quality standards, and proficiency in data analysis and problem solving.
• Leadership :  Strong leadership, team management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical skills : Strong understanding of assembly processes, familiarity with hand and power tools, and knowledge of relevant safety, quality, lean manufacturing, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Industrial manufacturing : Experience with fabrication, electrical and mechanical assembly, including ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inventory management : Experience with bills of material and inventory location management.

Physical Requirements :

The ability to work in a manufacturing setting, often while standing, using standard wiring equipment,

and adhering to PPE requirements. Some travel may be required

Reporting : This position has 2 direct reports and reports to quality management.

Pay Range : $28-$35 / hour (some overtime may be required).
