Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle as required. Pay Rate : $22.66 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTimeMon07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AMSun07 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support access control procedures and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized access within the healthcare location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required and proof must be provided as required by the client.
  • A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
