Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications for Aide : 0-12 semester units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field. Ability to work with children ages 6 weeks-5 years of age in a child care setting.
Qualifications for Associate Teacher : 12 ECE core semester units or Child Development Associate Teacher Permit. 1 year of experience working with children ages 6 weeks-5 years of age in a child care setting.
Qualifications for Teacher : AA or BA degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field. 2-5 years of experience working with children ages 6 weeks-5 years of age in a child care setting.
Qualifications for all positions : CPR and First Aid Certified preferred. Must be in good health, able to lift 30 lbs. chest high, and pass a physical exam. Must be able to walk, squat, bend and stand; ability to move freely to supervise and engage in indoor and outdoor activities with children.
