Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Institution Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Institution Patrol in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for clients, visitors, and staff. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 06 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals and / or suspicious behavior within the location.
  • Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and directions as needed while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Complete required documentation and reports related to security-related activities and incidents in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
