You will be responsible for crafting and managing the visual narrative of the Lazy Dog brand across various media. This position involves leading a team of creatives, overseeing visual content production and ensuring that the visual storytelling aligns with Lazy Dog’s brand and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Create, guide, and oversee visual narratives to build compelling stories that promote, elevate and protect the Lazy Dog brand.

Set the overall creative direction, ensuring alignment with creative strategy and company’s strategic goals.

Partner across marketing team to create a compelling visual brand story across all platforms, ensuring creative work aligns with companywide strategic goals.

Oversee broad video and multimedia programs that develop, maintain, and ensure consistency of the brand voice.

Motivate, inspire, and lead creative team. Provide feedback and guidance to team members.

Conceptualize and execute social-first ideas that capture attention, drive restaurant traffic and brand engagement.

Stay ahead of industry trends, continually exploring new ideas, materials and technologies to integrate into collateral.

Lead and execute in-House (Food, Bar, Lifestyle, Retail) Styling & Photography. Working on set to capture necessary assets and edit as required, ensuring all creative content aligns with the brand vision and delivers a cohesive experience.

Provide graphic design work as needed, to supplement existing internal and external resources, ensuring polished and professional work.

Ensure all visual communications and branding reflect consistently and positively the brand image and company ideals.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.

Minimum of eight (8) years of directly related work experience. Prior experience within hospitality, retail or consumer products is preferred.

Expert knowledge of all aspects of visual communications, including design and communications concepts, various media and applicable software applications.

Expert knowledge of production processes for a variety of media and knowledge of vendor requirements for a variety of products.

Expert knowledge of the trends and developments in the visual communications field.

Expert skills to devise broad visual, creative or design ideas, and produce results on time and within budget.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, schedules, and meet deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communications.
