Position Overview
Provide high quality instruction, leadership, and mentorship to participants in the Crafton Sportsman Complex program to provide participants with knowledge, skills, and attitudes related to Range and Target Activities, Firearm Safety, Wildlife Management, Conservation and Hunter Education.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct at the Crafton Sportsman Complex, including firearm safety, wildlife management, conservation and hunter education.
- Operate indoor simulation range and provide coaching for firearm techniques
- Present and teach in front of 20-40 people and clearly transfer knowledge
- Assist in the set up and takedown of the Skills Center facilities and equipment.
- Ensure a safe environment for all guests
- Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
- Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
