JOB TITLE : Production Tech

Position Summary :

Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of servers while performing / assisting the repair process.

Essential Functions :

 Test and diagnostics of servers and components.

 Repair or replace parts as necessary for servers.

 Troubleshoots technical issues and complete applicable documentation.

 Use of tools and test equipment of various types, to diagnose servers issues.

 Disassembles and / or reassembles units according to the applicable work instructions.

 Orders correct parts using the proper procedures.

 Tests units according to work instructions and process flows.

 Ensure quality repair according to work instructions and process flows.

 Responsible for inspecting products to ensure it is labeled correctly.

 Responsible for completing applicable paperwork completely and accurately.

 Responsible for entering repair data accurately into the QMS shop floor system.

 Document and communicate repair issues to engineering.

 Data Collection and analysis for use in problem solving.

 Meet daily & weekly goals for production output.

 Follow written and verbal work instructions.

 Use hand tools and equipment to move product from one area to another.

 Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.

 Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following 5S.

 Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.

 Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience :

 High school diploma or equivalent.

 Previous Lenux experience preferred.

 CompTia and / or A+ Certifications preferred.

 A minimum of 1-year diagnostic experience required.

Other Skills and Abilities :

 Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required, hearing protection, etc.

 Ability to read and interpret written instructions and photos.

 Ability to use hand tools and equipment.

 Ability to troubleshoot.

 Attention to detail and accuracy.

 Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.

 Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.

 Ability to multi-task.

 Basic math skills.

 Intermediate Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc. skills

 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

 Ability to work a flexible schedule.

 Must be self-motivated with ability to use own initiative.

 Flexibility to change direction frequently with little notice.

 Able to complete projects under tight deadlines, even when there are competing requirements and changes in assignments.

Physical Requirements :

 Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

 Good visual color perception.

 Ability to bend, stoop, stand for prolonged periods.

 Ability to move about production and warehouse facilities.

 Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment occasionally.
