Job Description
$245k - $265k | Senior Project Manager | Transportation Allowance | Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) | Bonus | New York
We've created a role for a PM to step into something more senior, offering direct reports, client facing duties and a clear pathway to an executive level position within the firm. Ideally, we'd like this person to be the 'face' of the firm, for both our team that reports into you (Supers, Engineers, Safety, Quality) and our clients (MTA / NYCT, USACE). Given the nature of the role and who you'll be managing, we are only wishing to speak with PM's that have 'built' work for a heavy civil GC as it pertains to MTA or DOT work, start to finish.
We have about 5 projects on at any given time, all averaging around $50M but we can self-bond well into the hundreds of millions. We have a low personnel turnover, and frankly we think its down to the fact we pay well, give well structured bonuses, regularly engage in promotion and salary reviews and understand that without our people, not a lot would get built... We need you!
We really (really really really) value tenure in a role. We like to know that someone has built projects start to finish and stuck with their employer during the tough times. Construction is hard, meeting the clients demands can be challenge, and we have a strong knit group that dig deep together, and we don't want to disrupt that. Given you will be the 'go-to' for our team, we cant be having someone say "do this, do that" if they haven't themselves. The project managers and superintendents that you will be overseeing all have built NYCT projects for us (a GC) start to finish, so if we want their buy-in, you have to have done this too.
If you've made it this far, you probably have exactly what we'd love to speak to you about and show you why we might be able to offer you something more fulfilling than where you are now!
