American Traveler is seeking a highly experienced Operating Room RN with Davinci Robotic and Level II trauma experience for a general OR team position in Wisconsin.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position based in a hospital operating room on the general teamRequires floating to other nearby facilities as needed13-week contract with 8-hour variable shifts, including 0700-1530, 0900-1730, and 1100-1930On-call requirements include 6-8 weeknights and 1-2 weekends during the contract, with a required 30-minute response timeWeekend and holiday call rotation requiredUnit has 21 ORs covering all specialties, averaging 40-60 cases per dayUses Epic charting system (preferred)Must have own vehicle for reliable transportation due to on-call responsibilitiesFlexibility and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this roleResponsible for OR circulating (scrubbing preferred), assisting with various surgical specialties, and performing downtime support tasks as neededTeam-oriented and adaptable candidates who manage change well are preferredScrub color choice is not restrictedFirst-time travelers are not eligible for this positionHoliday coverage and call rotation are required as scheduledLocal candidates within 50 miles are not eligible for consideration\n \n Requirements\n
Active WI or compact RN license requiredCurrent AHA BLS and ACLS certifications requiredMinimum 5 years of OR RN experience in a facility with at least 20 ORsAt least one prior travel assignment as an OR RN requiredExperience circulating required and scrub experience preferredDavinci Robotic surgical experience requiredLevel II trauma experience requiredExperience in general surgery, GYN, urology, plastics, ENT, and GI is a plusEpic EMR experience preferredMust reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facilityAbility to arrive in the OR within 30 minutes when on callVehicle required; cannot rely on rideshare services for on call\n Benefits\n
