We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Jesup, Georgia. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with experience managing payroll processes for multi-state operations. The role requires strong organizational skills to ensure the accurate allocation of labor, materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce ranging from 101 to 500 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage multi-state payroll functions, adhering to state-specific regulations and requirements.
- Utilize Viewpoint Vista software to track attendance, generate reports, and streamline payroll processes.
- Collaborate with department heads to approve and allocate labor, materials, and equipment costs appropriately.
- Prepare and review invoices related to payroll expenses for timely and accurate billing.
- Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions and employee data to ensure audit readiness.
- Assist in administrative tasks related to payroll, including document management and communication.
- Use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets for payroll tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws in all payroll-related activities.
- Provide support for payroll inquiries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Proven experience in handling payroll for 101-500 employees.
- Familiarity with multi-state payroll processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in Viewpoint Vista software for payroll and attendance tracking.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of invoicing and cost allocation practices.
