Security Guard Armed Government Patrol Fulltime

As a Security Guard Armed Government Patrol Fulltime in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with the public and staff, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $26.81 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Tue 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Wed 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sat 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

Sun 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities according to established protocols.
  • Interact with the public, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner while upholding site-specific requirements.
  • Assist law enforcement and / or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation related to security-related incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all protocols for the handling and carrying of firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and / or local regulations.
  • Obtain handcuffing, baton, and CPR certifications, which can be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
