As an Outside Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing and running the entire sales cycle. You will drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, acquiring and developing new and expanding business with direct clients for our multi-brand portfolio. The Outside Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales to new and assigned customers and supporting them with expert knowledge in these fields. Compensation range is $70-95k per year and is based on experience and performance.
Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and direction of the sales teamDevelop strategic sales plan (including target customers, revenue and margin targets, and product focus) by working collaboratively with the product management and existing sales teamTarget high quality leads and leverage existing partnerships to build a robust prospect funnelOwn and drive revenue growth, identify opportunities, utilize forecasting models for new and assigned existing accountsCreate, monitor and act on keep performance metrics to meet customer and revenue needsPrepare annual sales forecast and department budgetBuild relationships at multiple levels with potential clients via phone, email, social media, face-to-face meetings - travel as necessary but approximately 10-25%Engage with decision makers at all levels of an organization during the buying processProvide consultative account management, post-sales support, and consistent follow-upMaintain a high level of relevant product and industry knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects - deep industry knowledge not required for initial hireSet goals and report on sales activity, utilize CRM tool and other sales reporting toolsProvide feedback to management on company trends, threats, needs and opportunities - work with product managers to develop new products to meet customer needsGenerate proposals and contractsAssist in the planning and execution of coordinated sales and marketing campaignsQualifications
