Manpower is partnering with an Arvada construction company to find an experienced AR clerk. Job Type : Full-time Pay : $30 / hour

The AR Specialist is a key player in the timely collection of customer payments for the business. The AR Specialist works collaboratively with customers and internal personnel to ensure the accurate reporting, coding and receipt of customer payments in support of Company SOP, goals and objectives. The AR Specialist reviews, audits, reconciles, maintains and updates company business and financial system to ensure accurate collections and financial reporting.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Applies daily payments to customers' accounts.
• Reconciles accounts routinely to ensure accurate record keeping of payments, transactions and status to keep accounts current.
• Collaborates with other team members such as Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Regional Vice President's to discuss and resolve customer issues resulting from incorrect or misapplied payments.
• Communicates with accounts to discuss open balances to reduce past due balances and lower Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Evaluates orders for fraudulent activity to prevent fraud with new customers and first-time shipping to accounts.
• Resolves issues regarding payment, price, tax, freight, and returns.
• Performs weekly cash flow updates and forecasts.
• Forecasts weekly collection amounts.
• Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.
