Location : Stafford VA 22554
Schedule : Mon-Fri, 8AM-5 : 00PM
Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform electrical wiring, and testing of products to ensure functionality and quality.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects or irregularities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed.
- Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and techniques.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support team goals for production targets.
Requirements
3 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systemsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational trainingProven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related fieldStrong knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes and techniquesProficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprintsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workGood manual dexterity and ability to work with small componentsAbility to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environmentStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challengesBasic computer skills for documenting work and tracking assembly progressFamiliarity with safety procedures and ability to follow them in a manufacturing environmentWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenCandidates will be traveling 10%-15% of the time with this positionBenefits
