Launch is an innovative, cohort-based professional development program designed to help high achieving college grads jump start their careers. Be part of a team participating in real-world, challenging, interactive, and action-based learning curriculum, developing your skills on the job. You'll earn valuable experience over three 12-month rotations through different areas of the company.

As a member of the Launch Program Class of 2029, you'll be fully immersed with a global team of R&D fiber experts, eager to teach and learn from you along the way. You'll develop a strong understanding of how a global business operates from the inside and develop functional and leadership skills that will set a solid foundation for the rest of your career.

We offer opportunities to work in our facility in Tucson, AZ.

Potential rotations could include :

Product or Design Engineer

Develop laboratory experience

Advance manufacturing knowledge

Experience the product launch process

Fiber Testing Engineer

Perform optical, mechanical, and environmental tests on fiber optic cable and connectivity products

Design and improve existing test procedures to enhance accuracy

Evaluate new materials

Manufacturing or Quality Engineer

Learn about compliance, customs / trade and project management

Analyze testing procedures, machine capabilities and material flow

Experience Lean management

A successful R&D Fiber Launch Program participant will bring :

Passion - we value your enthusiasm, initiative, and excitement to take on new challenges and solve for tomorrow's problems

Academic Achievement - you are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields of study

Experience - related experience including hands-on laboratory experience and studies related to Electrical Engineering theory and Optical engineering theory, in addition to technical curiosity

Intellectual Curiosity - you are analytical and determined, with strong communication and relationship building abilities

We are unable to provide sponsorship for employment visa status for this position, now or in the future.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $82,000 - $92,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
