Overview
DSS, Inc. is a leading health information software development and systems integration company. We are seeking an Implementation Specialist with PeriOperative (PeriOp) clinical experience. Experience as an RN or LPN with operating room experience is preferred. When not on-site, the candidate will work from home in a dedicated workspace with reliable internet access.
Responsibilities
- Travel approximately 36 weeks per year to include weekends and holidays when necessary, in accordance with Training Services Department policies
- Arrange travel in accordance with DSS and Training Services policy
- Create and deliver Training Plans, Class Agendas, Web-Based Presentations and Training Materials
- Review application setup with appropriate staff
- Provide on-site, in-person training in classroom and one-on-one mentoring formats
- Provide on-site support during customer Go Live
- Deliver product demonstrations to potential or existing clients and internal staff
- Submit signed on-site certification documents upon training completion
- Submit Training Reports, monthly expenses, and timekeeping in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist Product Training Coordinator with scheduling onsite and remote training within contracted timelines
Other Duties
Communicate verbally and in writing with clients and document work activities and processesParticipate in internal and external Site Kick Off callsAttend Scrum Calls, Sprint Planning, Core Team Meetings, and Development Planning Meetings as directedParticipate in Quality Assurance Testing and troubleshooting of the productAssist Documentation Department in creating Product ManualsGather requirements for workflow processes and configure the application accordinglyWork from home when not on the road as directed by the Training Manager or DirectorCross-train on other products as assigned by Training DirectorAdhere to DSS and Departmental policies including timesheet and expense submissionsSecurity and Privacy
Employees will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. FedRAMP training is required to ensure compliance with applicable controls. High-risk roles may require advanced training based on access level.
Qualifications
Required :
3+ years of software implementation experiencePrior EMR / EHR implementationStrong client-focused training and ability to follow up on client issues until resolutionAbility to assess issues within a client workflow and suggest alternative processes or resolutionsAbility to organize time, identify barriers, and set prioritiesExcellent listening and clear, concise presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Aptitude for understanding technical processes and learning new softwareHands-on implementation experience in a hospital or clinical settingDesired :
