Job Title : Social Content Specialist Remote

Location : Greater Chicago Metro Area or Greater New York Metro Area (Remote / Hybrid)

Duration : 12 months Contract With possibility of Extension.

Shift Details : 1st

Pay Range : $34 / h to $35 / hr.

Position is 100% remote, BUT looking for someone local to either Chicago, IL or Greater NY Metro area. They would like someone to be onsite about 1x a quarter for business critical meetings and must be in one of these locations.

Looking for someone to ideally start around October 1st, 2025- position is estimated for 12 months duration with the likelihood to extend longer.

The Social Media team is seeking a highly creative and trend-savvy Social Content Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a sharp eye for design and video editing, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll be responsible for producing engaging, platform-native content (primarily static with some short-form video), while also supporting light community management duties to ensure a consistent and authentic brand voice across channels. Your work will directly influence how consumers experience and engage with our brands, helping to build loyalty and drive cultural relevance.

The Social Content Specialist will implement the social media approach of assigned brands, occasionally assist in managing engagement and interactivity with the consumer audience and generate best-in-class social content with efficiency and excellence. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and agency partners, gaining exposure to integrated marketing strategies and the latest in digital innovation, as well as internal department teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating a strong social brand.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation (90%)

• Create thumb-stopping content that resonates with diverse audiences across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Design static graphics and edit short-form videos using brand guidelines and current trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to align content with brand strategy and campaign goals.
• Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and emerging formats to inform content strategy.
• Support the creation of social toolkits, templates, and creative briefs.

Community Management (10%)
