Position Overview :

The Assistant Planner provides crucial support to the Nike Swim team. This role is essential for daily operational success, accurate reporting, and effective inventory management, building a foundational understanding of sales trends and planning processes.

Responsibilities :

• Work with the Director of Planner to set and achieve sales, margin and inventory goals through the correct assortment and pricing strategy for each account.
• Develop, maintain and analyze Account flow & ladder plans
• Create and review weekly sales reports. Make call-outs to maximize the business to the Planner / Sales team.
• Work with AE and the Design / Merchandising group on a monthly / quarterly basis to share selling information, category information, sku count recommendation, and opportunities for the following season.
• Support the Director of Planning with in-season business decks, ad hoc analysis, and data entry.
• Maintain thumbnail history of selling by style as required by account.
• Build a foundational understanding of inventory management principles, including Open-to-Buy (OTB) and sales trend analysis.
• Assist with planning and forecasting of replenishment buys and related analyses.
