Position Summary :

Evolution Risk Partners, LLC (the “Company” or “ERP”) is seeking a Senior Associate of Accounting and Finance to assist in executing its growth strategy. Reporting to the Controller and CFO, the Senior Associate will manage the day-to-day treasury and accounting functions, critically analyze financial data using Excel and PowerBi and help build complex financial models to help scale the business. The position will support the Controller in ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and providing data-driven insights to ERP’s leadership team to support decision-making.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements, cash management procedures and other reporting requirements
• Strong command of GAAP reporting that delivers timely and accurate recording of all business transactions
• Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, expenses, receivables, and payables, and cash management functions
• Knowledge of working within and / or implementing an accounting software system
• Interface with outside auditors and tax CPAS and support the annual audit activity
• Support the Controller and CFO in budgeting exercises
• Provide ad hoc analytical support to drive actionable decision making and support strategic and financial planning activities

Requirements and Qualifications :

This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual with 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or in the accounting group of an insurance business to join an entrepreneurial environment and assist in the establishment of a solid accounting function for a high-growth company. Qualifications of the successful candidate will include :

A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with a public accounting firm or as an internal accountant within a company
