Proven experience with technical fundamentals in existing Army programs (e.g. ground vehicles, aviation, uncrewed systems, missile defense, long range fires / artillery, Soldier systems). Preferred to have proven experience, exposure, and understanding with technical and operational fundamentals in Army Aviation programs. Experience working within the Army Aviation acquisition process. Expert-level understanding of core systems engineering and analysis disciplines and processes. Experience working with Army Aviation capability developers. Understands requirement generation and subsequent validation / verification. Familiarity and knowledge related to Army experimentation practices. Awareness and working knowledge of Army Science and Technology enterprise support to Army modernization. Experience in the development and maintenance of architecture products across the span of DoDAF, including Project Views, Capability Views, Operational Views, System / Service Views, Standard Views and Data and Information Views. Experience with CAMEO Enterprise Architect. Proven experience in development and use of modeling for architecture solutions. Experience with lifecycle readiness from System Requirements Review through system decommissioning. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment. Strong oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to brief programmatically, strategically, and technically to senior leadership. Overview
IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Requirements Systems Engineering , with experience in enterprise level systems architecture, to provide Systems Engineering technical services. In support of the customer at Redstone Arsenal, you will assist with the development of system design, modeling, and documentation efforts, applying MBSE principles and tools while supporting system of systems integration across the Army.
Responsibilities
- Utilization of modeling and simulation tools to deliver objective insights to support strategic modernization decisions.
- Providing technical and programmatic guidance to the architecture and system level requirements process.
- Working across multiple organizations to identify and define future capability and interoperability needs.
- Identifying key system level performance characteristics and performing system level trades.
- Leading a system engineering team in collaboration and approval of engineering products through engineering reviews and engineering milestone events.
- Developing Component Specification Models (CSM) and evaluating Component Design Models (CDM) using Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) and CAMEO EA.
- Preparing briefings for senior decision makers.
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to develop and manage system and program level risk.
- As part of duties, occasionally stand, walk, sit; use tools or controls; perform normal physical activity and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership; occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 25 pounds.
