Off-Spec Coordinator
As an Off-Spec Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating all off-specs and maintaining Arcwood 10-Day drum documentation.
Essential Functions & Requirements :
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all timesCoordinates all off-specs (bulk and drum) while communicating issues to the respective Customer Experience team, plant operations, and compliance personnelEnsures all issues are corrected, documented, and charged (if applicable) appropriately and finalizes all needs accurately and timelyNavigates all off-spec issues including compliance and physical or chemical problems associated with the loadReviews 10-Day loads (manifests, lab data, etc.) for the plant and manages their status related to inbound plant needs (release loads)Utilizes internal MMS system to update inventory and other related informationAssists with check-ins and creates inventory entries related to manifests managed by other functions across the organizationCompletes required training related to DOT and RCRA manifesting procedures in order to review and update manifests in a compliant mannerMaintains an understanding of container sampling requirements and performs duties as needed, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE), sample collection, barcoding containers, troubleshooting issues and data entry via hand-held scannerAssists with managing the metrics table; documents daily numbers from inbound to total number of drums sampled per dayTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizationEducation :
High school diploma or equivalent (required)Experience :
3+ years of related environmental experience (required)Competencies :
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerWorking knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations and general industry practicesExcellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customersAbility to wear personal protective equipment, including a respiratorRegular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this roleBenefits, Compensation, & Workforce Diversity :
