The Assembler I will build sub-assemblies and assemblies involving complex and repetitive wiring for battery cabinets that support Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS). One (1) year experience in a manufacturing environment High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50 mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Position Criteria : Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility. Ability to use power industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc) Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures. Ability to work daily and / or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to distinguish colored wiring Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
