Sales Support Position
The Sales Support will work directly under the Director of Sales and Marketing to support sales and marketing efforts for four Mathnasium centers. They will work on projects to help drive lead generation and lead conversion for the centers.
Role :
- Relationship Builders : Build relationships with potential customers, parents, guardians, and students to sell the Mathnasium program and ensure exceptional customer service / satisfaction. Customer focused in order to overcome obstacles to selling the program.
- Customer Service Fanatics : Successfully sell the Mathnasium program, build relationships with leads, and achieve optimal customer satisfaction. Alleviate any issues customer experience, and resolve most customer service complaints.
- Organized Administrators : Take accountability of the sales process as it relates to lead generation and lead to assessment conversion. Provide support on achieving strategic center business goals. Monitor and update all documentation as it pertains to sales and lead goals.
Characteristics :
Effective Communicators : Sales Support must be able to effectively communicate the benefits of Mathnasium for any student situation. They must be able to convey what differentiates Mathnasium from other math educational options. Sales Support should be confident in phone, email, and text communication.Passionate : Sales Support must enjoy working / collaborating with parents to understand their needs and how the program helps students. Sales Support must also have a strong passion that the Mathnasium Method can work for any student and convey that to potential families.Driven / Motivated : Sales Support Assistants must be determined to be successful in their role and regularly work to improve their skills.Assertive / Confident : Sales Support needs to be able to explain with total confidence why the Mathnasium program works. We must appear as math experts from the jumpset of the conversation.Detail Oriented : Sales support is great at making notes that can help close sales further down the line. They are good at communicating progress on campaigns and sales projects, keeping the Sales Director and other relevant persons informed.Tasks Performed : Lead Generation :
Implement a local marketing strategy to attract leads including social mediaUpdate the microsite to ensure center hours are correct, program offerings are accurate, the employment page is maintained, center news is shared, and basic customer questions are answeredRequest parents / customers to review the business online using Yelp, Google, and / or Listen360Monitor and respond to online reviews from Yelp, Google, Listen360 and others to ensure the center is properly represented online and reflects the excellence within the centerIdentify and partner with local schools to increase center awareness, join the community, promote sponsorships, attend PTA / PTO nights, and demonstrate how the Mathnasium Method helps students learn and master mathIdentify and partner with local teachers to increase center awarenessIdentify and research additional opportunities to generate more leadsLead Conversion :
Be available and respond promptly to leads who inquire about Mathnasium's servicesProvide exceptional customer service to leads through professional conduct, answering any questions, and directing the leads to begin enrollment conversationsReceive leads in person, by email and phone, and from the micrositeUtilize center management software to maximize lead conversion by creating an organized system of tasks that details communication with leadsMaster and utilize the M-A-T-H model to enhance lead conversionOffer the risk-free assessment and other promotions to encourage potential customers to come into the centerUtilize all available communication methods including texting, email, and phone calls to be available to families interested in our programFollow up with leads in person, by email, and by phone to answer any inquires, overcome objections, invite them into the center for a visit, and sell them the Mathnasium programUtilize all available software, such as Constant Contact, to effectively manage marketing campaignsSet up appropriate expectations with parents and students about anticipated progress and recommended guidelines for student attendance, behavior, and procedures / engagementAdditional Responsibilities :
In addition to conducting all the tasks and maintaining all the competencies of the Sales Support position, there may be additional sales oriented tasks such as marketing, social media management, as directed by the Director of Sales and Marketing.
Compensation : $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
