Mid to Senior Offensive Red Team

Overview

A cybersecurity consulting company is looking for an Offensive Red Team Engineer with extensive penetration testing experience. This is a high performing, collaborative team where you'll be implementing new, automated tools, BAS platforms, and AI agents, while also thinking like an adversary, turning small flaws into full-on breaches. This role specializes in web or API testing and Red Team practices. Ideal candidates also have consulting experience or depth of experience across various industries.

This role is fully remote with an option to be hybrid in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to offensive security engagements by planning and executing Red Team operations.
• Develop and automate security tools, BAS platforms, and AI agents to improve assessment capabilities.
• Think like an adversary to identify and exploit weaknesses, turning small flaws into breaches.
• Specialize in web or API testing and Red Team practices as part of client engagements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality security assessments and recommendations.
