What You Will Do As An Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor :

• Ensure the company complies with all the federal and state OSHA regulations
• Prepare and submit reports for all Environmental, Health, and Safety programs as required by Federal, State, and Local agencies
• Serve as a point of contact for inspections by regulatory agencies, minimize deficiencies, and ensure proper corrective actions are implemented
• Maintain all EHS training documentation as required by the company and federal / state standards
• Train individuals who handle waste on the proper handling, labeling, and storing of waste
• Practice environmentally cautious handling, transportation, and storage of chemicals, and be a go-to resource for those with questions regarding environmental safety at the site
• Work with distributors, contractors, and consultants to improve Apexs environmental impact overall
• Implement new health and safety protocols and measures to ensure compliance with regulations
• Report to management, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies
• Handle all chemical and component waste for the site
• Incident management and prevention
• Build a culture of lean action within the plant
• Perform other work as assigned
