PRINCIPAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) :
- Ensure that you present yourself in a professional manner and appearance in a day-to-day contact with customers, guests and co-workers.
- Document all OJT to build experience portfolio.
- Perform tasks as required by the work scope with efficiency and to quality standards
- Utilize the applicable technical data relative to work performed including but not limited to : maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, repair and modifications
- Learn the Quality Control systems and procedures of the Repair Station / Quality Control Manual relative to the scope of the normally assigned duties
- Acquire a working knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations and in particular, CFR parts 43, 91, and 145; and 135 as required
- Complete aircraft maintenance paperwork and forms in accordance with methods of execution outlined in the RSM / QCM
- Maintain good housekeeping practices by utilizing a 5Ssystem of "sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain"
- Focus on Human Factors in the workplace and strive for zero defects in workmanship and safety
- Observe and administer company rules and regulations and safety policy and standard operating procedures
NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) :
May perform other duties as required to meet departmental goalsPerform at maximum efficiency by effective use of available resourcesCollaborate and cooperate with the Customer Project Supervisor to achieve the on time and on budget objectives of the work scopePerform daily activities toward providing services and deliverables to the customer that meet and exceed customer satisfaction expectationsSupport the corporate mission and vision through achievement of department goals and objectivesMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of a technical training course with certificateMust possess the physical dexterity and general mechanical knowledge required for a technicianProficient in the use of pneumatic tools and basic hand toolsDemonstrated organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate in a team environmentThe ability to lift up to 50 poundsMust not be allergic to fuels, oils, hydraulic fluids and cleaning solventsAbility to understand and relay both written and verbal instructionsADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous aviation experience preferredRead and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts and schematicsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsPrior experience drilling and fastening of sheet metal partsPrior welding, fabrication or cabinetry experience preferredWORKING CONDITIONS :
Hangar and ramp environments with variance temperature range normal to Reno, NevadaMust be able to work and bend in a confined work spaceMust be able to repeatedly enter and exit aircraft using stationary steps / stairsAbility to lift up to 50lbsWork with high noise levels including jet enginesFlexibility to work different shifts and or overtime based on business needsAbility to work at heights up to 50' above groundCompensation and Benefits :
The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education / certifications, geographic location, and shift. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.
