This role includes supervising and delegating appropriate tasks to non-RN personnel on the assigned unit. When assigned the charge nurse role, the RN will delegate and supervise unit activities according to defined expectations. The RN may also be cross-trained to function in New London ED / Psychiatric Emergency Services and Pequot Emergency Departments as necessary.
