Job Description
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a content operations professional who excels at execution and thrives in fast-paced environments. You'll manage the day-to-day operations of content creation across multiple formats and channels, coordinating with external agencies, navigating internal review processes, and ensuring seamless publication from concept to completion. Reporting to senior content leadership, you'll be responsible for keeping a high-volume content engine running smoothly and efficiently.
The role requires someone comfortable working across written articles, video, podcasts, and interactive content formats. You'll manage editorial calendars, lead cross-functional meetings, edit and optimize deliverables, and handle hands-on publishing in WordPress. While foundational knowledge of SEO is important, this position focuses heavily on modern content discovery methods, including optimization for AI-powered search platforms and emerging digital channels.
You'll collaborate with multiple teams across the organization and manage relationships with external content partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about content craft, comfortable experimenting with AI tools, and energized by operational excellence in high-volume production environments. This role offers opportunities to contribute ideas and drive experimentation while maintaining a primary focus on tactical execution and delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end content production including editing and quality assurance across multiple content formats
Manage editorial calendars and coordinate with external content agencies to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
Execute hands-on content publishing in WordPress, including formatting, scheduling, and ongoing optimization
Navigate internal review and approval processes with legal, brand, and subject matter expert stakeholders
Repurpose and optimize content assets for distribution across multiple channels to maximize reach and engagement
Maintain and enforce editorial standards to ensure consistent brand voice and quality across all content
Partner with cross-functional teams including social media, PR, and marketing to execute integrated content initiatives
Serve as a central coordination point for content operations, managing workflows and streamlining processes
Leverage AI and productivity tools to enhance content creation efficiency
Track content performance metrics and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Contribute to editorial planning and content ideation processes
Required Experience / Skills
7-10 years of hands-on experience in content management, content editing, or similar content operations roles
Experience working within large-scale corporate environments or for major consumer brands
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
Proven ability to simplify complex topics into clear, accessible, engaging content
Hands-on expertise with content management systems (CMS), particularly WordPress
Demonstrated success managing multiple agency partners and vendor relationships
Understanding of modern search principles and content optimization best practices
Comfort and confidence using AI tools for content production
Strong project management skills with ability to operate independently in matrixed organizations
Customer-focused mindset with passion for creating valuable content experiences
Nice-to-Haves
Experience creating content for Gen Z and millennial audiences
Proficiency with content analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
Familiarity with financial services, fintech, or consumer technology content
