Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol Full-Time

As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrol Full-Time in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Officer in a retail environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. This is a driving position, where your presence and attention to detail contribute to a positive experience for everyone at the location. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Job Schedule :

DayTime Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Thur 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Sat 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Sun 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as needed.
  • Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and interacting with customers and staff.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while representing Allied Universal at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
