American Traveler is seeking an experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist (RVT or RVS) with strong EPIC skills and a minimum of 2 years’ dedicated vascular ultrasound experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in both inpatient and outpatient vascular clinic settings serving all agesDaily schedule is 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM with weekend rotation and off on Thursday when working the weekendHandle an average caseload of 8-12 vascular studies dailyPatient population includes those with PVD, CAD, heart failure, stroke, venous insufficiency, renal and celiac / SMA stenosis, renal transplant, and TOSProcedures include carotid, upper / lower extremity arterial and venous studies, DVT / reflux, vein mapping, renal, mesenteric and AAA, endograft, aorta, PVR / segmental pressures, hemodialysis and arterial bypass graftsEquipment used includes Philips Epic Elite and Parks PVR / Segmental Pressures machinesUses EPIC EMR (prior experience required) and VascuPro reporting systemFloating may be required to a nearby outpatient vascular lab in High PointNo call is requiredWork on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day is expected for travelersOrientation includes 3 days of departmental trainingSupportive, traveler-friendly, and teamwork-oriented department cultureBlack scrubs requiredFree parking providedHoliday coverage is limited to Thanksgiving and Christmas Day onlyRTO must be approved before contract acceptance; 4 weeks’ notice required for changes\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experienceCurrent BLS certificationRegistered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) by CCI requiredEpic EMR experience requiredProficiency in all forms of vascular studies listed, including carotid, venous, DVT, vein mapping, renal, mesenteric, AAA, endograft, aorta, PVR / segmental pressures, hemodialysis and graftsLicense required if applicableFirst-time travelers will be considered for this position\n Benefits\n
